Vaishnavi Kasuluru got her M.Sc. degree in Information and Communication Engineering in 2020 from TU Darmstadt, Germany and her B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2016 from SSN College of Engineering, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, India.
During her M.Sc. she did her 1st internship in 2018 at National Instruments which was focused on implementation of real time LTE / 5G-NR MAC functionality like handling of data packets(real time UDP video data) and scheduling between users based on their channel quality in LabVIEW(LV) along with preparing LV MAC demo setup of eNB and users. The LV MAC demo was presented at Globecom conference in Abu Dhabi by National Instruments. She did her 2nd internship and master thesis in 2019 at Ericsson GmbH focusing on building performance indicators, using those indicators to perform dynamic video bit rate adaption and preparing test beds to evaluate uplink video streamed over LTE and 5G network for V2X communication use case.
Currently, she is a Marie-Curie fellow Early Stage Researcher in CTTC research institute, Barcelona, Spain in collaboration with UPC University for gaining PhD. Her focus of work would be under ITN SEMANTIC project on Open-RAN, Slicing, SDN and NFV.
