Constantine A. Kyriakopoulos received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2010 and 2018, respectively. He is currently a research member of Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) in Barcelona greater area. His main research interests lie in the field of resource allocation of optical backbone and access networks, extending to optical node-embedded OSes with the communication to the Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller, and at the same time, multi-core fibre systems and node architectures under Space Division Multiplexing (SDM). He participated in many European and national-scale networking projects in the past, producing efficient and intelligent algorithms for communication systems. His programming languages of choice include C++, Java and Python which are used to design, implement and evaluate the performance of the devised methods. His dissemination activities include more than 20 publications.
