Albert Bel (Sabadell, 1983) received his BSc degree in telecommunications engineering (2007), the MSc degree in micro and nanotechnologies (2008), and a PhD in telecommunications and systems engineering (2012) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He conducted his PhD studies in the SPCOMNAV research group under the supervision of Prof. Gonzalo Seco-Granados and Prof. José López Vicario.  

In 2013, he joined the Network Technologies and Strategies (NeTS) and the Wireless Networking research groups at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) as a postdoc researcher and project manager, where he has been involved in different international and national research projects.  In 2019, he obtained a Lecturer Position in the Engineering School, coordinating two undergraduate courses.

Since February 2023, he is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Services as Networks (SaS) Research Unit at Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) in the context of the 6GDAWN and 6GBLUR projects.
