ABSTRACT: In the framework of World Space Week (October, 4-10), SpaceSUR company will make a presentation on solutions applied to real cases of problems that may affect infrastructure, health, and life risks. How the different remote sensing techniques, specialized software and other disciplines can be combined to provide prevention solutions, response actions and monitoring will be also explained.

Javier Urien is CTO of SpaceSur. Electronic Engineer from the University of Buenos Aires. He has more than fifteen years of experience in the aerospace sector. He has worked as a teacher in different courses for the Argentine space agency (CONAE).
