This year, for the first time at ONDM (International Conference on Optical Network Design and Modellin, CTTC has organized a special event on “Women in Photonics & Diversity Dimensions in Research” supported by the IEEE Photonics Society in the framework of IEEE Women in Photonics.
This event promoting diversity and inclusion has been organized as a workshop with inspiring talks on IEEE related programs, mentorship and leadership practices, as well as human resources strategies, focusing on how to introduce the diversity dimensions and women engagement in research, including the impact of Covid-19 lockdown and the perspective of an Editor in Chief.
Among the event’s invited talks, Michela Svaluto Moreolo delivered one on how to foster excellence and diversity through Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).
