Next Friday, May 13, at the Cartographic and Geologic Institute of Catalonia, the MOMPA project will organize its final work session. The session is open to all publics. It will bring experts from Catalonia, Andorra, and France on terrain deformation monitoring, to present results on the surveillance of terrain deformation in the Pyrenees. The monitoring based on radar data from Earth Observation satellites allowed to perform the monitoring over a large surveillance area extended over the regions of Alt Urgell, Cerdanya, Capcir, Conflent, and Andorra.  This work has favored to detect hundreds of deformation events, including subsidence, landslides as well as deformations in structures and infrastructures.
