Kick-off meeting for ATTRACT-funded projects

20/05/2019 - 21/05/2019

The CTTC presented the VLADIMIR concept to the participants of the kick-off event of ATTRACT (https://attract-eu.com/), which took place on 20-21 May 2019 at the premises of CERN (Geneva). VLADMIR will implement a monitoring system for indoor areas by sensing the variations that the optical wireless communication channel experiences when pre-defined ‘target’ events take place. The optical signals will be also used to provide illumination and data services simultaneously. VLADIMIR could have applications in places where the use of cameras for monitoring is not allowed (due to privacy-related concerns) and/or in scenarios where the use of radio signals fo data transmission is not  possible or practical.

VLADIMIR project is coordinated by CTTC (Spain) and has Aalto University (Finland) as partner.
