On February, 23rd, 2016, Fundació Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC), CTTC HK Limited (CTTCHK) and the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) have strengthened its collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim to participate jointly in 5G R&D projects.
The MoU was signed by Miguel Angel Lagunas (Director of CTTC), Albert Sitja (Director of CTTCHK) and Justin Chuang (Vice President and Group Director of ASTRI) at CTTC facilities, in the framework of the Barcelona Mobile World Congress 2016.
This mission was co-organized by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park Corporation (HKSTP) -statutory body dedicated to building a vibrant innovation and technology ecosystem to connect stakeholders, nurture technology talents, facilitate collaboration, and catalyse innovations to deliver social and economic benefits to Hong Kong and the region- and Catalonia Trade & Investment -the public agency that works to attract foreign direct investment to Barcelona and Catalonia-.
