The objective of this National Thematic Network is to join forces among academic and research institutions to progress on specific networking topics fostering
moving the computation towards the edge (closer to the user) aiming at dealing with stringent service requirements such as latency. To address that heterogenous
technologies and solutions will be explored such as felxible access, metro and core networks, SDN, NFV, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, etc.
