Deformation monitoring to support a comprehensive hydrogeological study of the entire Salar de Atacama (Chile) area. This includes the salt lake and neighboring regions. The study was mainly based on remotely sensed interferometric synthetic aperture radar observations from the Sentinel-1 sensor.
