S. Mohammad MirMazloumi studied Geomatics at the University of Tabriz (2012), and Remote Sensing M. Eng. at K. N. Toosi University of Technology (2015) was focusing on retrieval of soil surface parameters using AIRSAR. Since M.Sc., he has been working on different Remote Sensing projects, including DInSAR, SAR data applications, land cover classification in GEE, soil surface parameters’ retrievals, etc. Furthermore, he held a Lecturer position in the Islamic Azad University of Ramsar, as well as co-supervisor of a M.Sc. thesis at Khorramshahr University of Marine Science and Technology. Also, he participated in National soil moisture research and has been assisting in Google Earth Engine (GEE) Applications projects.

Since November 2019, he is a research assistant in the remote sensing department at Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicaciones de Catalunya (CTTC/CERCA), and Ph.D. student in Aerospace Science and Technology at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, entitled in “Advanced Persistent Scatterer Interferometry procedure for deformation monitoring”. He is currently working on deformation measurement studies in mountainous and vegetated areas, in addition to techniques and tools to automatically analyze very large datasets of Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) data at CTTC. Additionally, he is working on finding dust sources using Sentinel-1, large scale classification using optical and SAR data in GEE, and literature reviews of remote sensing applications in ocean and wetlands.

Mohammad has an h-index of 4 with 80 citations in google scholar. Also, he serves as a reviewer for the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, GIScience and Remote Sensing, and Engineering Reports.
