Muhammad A. Jadoon received his BSc degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Science and Technology Peshawar and his MSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Ulsan, South Korea.
During his MSc, he was a research assistant at the Information and Coding Theory Lab where he worked on the application of machine learning for relay selection in wireless cooperative networks. After Korea, he spent some of his time in Italy where he worked on network virtualization in 5G. Besides this, he was enrolled in the School of Innovation at University of Trento to develop entrepreneurial skills and had training on innovation.
Currently, he is a Marie Sk?odowska-Curie fellow ESR working on a European Innovative Training Network (ITN) project called WindMill in the communication systems division of CTTC. WindMill addresses the integration of machine learning tools in wireless communications and he is particularly focusing on applying machine learning tools for massive connectivity and massive machine type communications (mMTC) for 5G and beyond. He is exploring ML-based tools for random access in massive wireless networks
