Design and optimization of a retro-directive array element using a self-oscillating mixer, in microstrip technology
Duration: 12 monthsThe work involves the use of commercial simulators to design a retro-directive array element based on a self-oscillating mixer (SOM). The input frequency of the array will be in the range of 2 GHz – 3 GHz or 4 GHz – 5 GHz, and the SOM will oscillate at twice the input frequency. The circuit will be optimized for gain.
