The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, a supra-university research center established in Barcelona and devoted to basic and applied R&D related to the physical and lower layers of communications systems, is interested in filling post-doctoral positions in communications technologies.

RESEARCH TOPICS

Preferred research topics include, but are not limited to, those within the scope of the Access Technologies area, namely:

Multi-user wireless systems, multi-carrier modulation (OFDM, MC-CDMA, etc), interference cancellation, cross-layer designs, MAC protocols, power control, handoff wireless/satellite, transceiver design, RRM, multi-hop transmission.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants for post-doc positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in communications, computer science, or related fields capacity of carrying out innovative research as well as experience in research and publication record.

Experience in R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions and centers is highly appreciated.

CONDITIONS

Contract duration is 24 months, renewable. The rank and salary, in the range 24,000 - 30,000 €/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience. CTTC is particularly interested in candidates with a good balance of academic qualifications and know-how in their field of knowledge.
