The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, a supra-university research center established in Barcelona and devoted to basic and applied R&D related to the physical and lower layers of communications systems, is interested in filling post-doctoral positions in communications technologies.
RESEARCH TOPICS
Preferred research topics include, but are not limited to, those within the scope of the IP Technologies Area, namely:
Network performance evaluation and quality of service, from both theoretical and experimental points of view, IP Protocols, QoS and mobility, security, knowledge of queuing theory, network calculus, graph theory, performance measurement techniques and architectures, statistical analysis of captured data, IPv6.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants for post-doc positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in communications, computer science, or related fields capacity of carrying out innovative research as well as experience in research and publication record.
Experience in R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions and centers is highly appreciated.
CONDITIONS
Contract duration is 24 months, renewable. The rank and salary will be determined according to qualifications and work experience. CTTC is particularly interested in candidates with a good balance of academic qualifications and know-how in their field of knowledge.
