The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, a supra-university research center established in Barcelona and devoted to basic and applied R&D related to the physical and lower layers of communications systems, is interested in filling post-doctoral positions in communications technologies.

RESEARCH TOPICS

Preferred research topics include, but are not limited to, those within the scope of the different Communications Subsystems Area, namely:

Implementation of subsystems for application in RF/microwave and communication systems, RF MEMS, MMIC, microwave passive devices, microwave photonics, EM modeling/CAD for passive components, amplifiers and high-frequency circuits, positioning systems (GPS, Galileo).

Applicants for post-doc positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in communications, computer science, or related fields capacity of carrying out innovative research as well as experience in research and publication record.

Experience in R&D projects carried out in the context of R&D institutions and centers is highly appreciated.

Contract duration is 24 months, renewable. The rank and salary will be determined according to qualifications and work experience. CTTC is particularly interested in candidates with a good balance of academic qualifications and know-how in their field of knowledge.
