Daniel Sacristán (Madrid, 1983) received his B.S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Madrid, Spain) and his M.S. degree in Information Technology from the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences (Mannheim, Germany). In August 2006 he joined the department Mobile & Wireless Solutions of T-Systems Enterprise Services GmbH (Darmstadt, Germany), where he served in the Next Generation Networks and Internet on Train project fields.

Since January 2008, he is with the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC), pursuing his Ph.D. on Signal Theory and Communications at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona.
