The candidate must have a strong background in microwave electronics with specific emphasis on RF and analog circuit design and antennas. They must have experience using commercial circuit CAD software (e.g. Agilent ADS, AWR Microwave Office) and electromagnetic simulation CAD (e.g. Ansoft HFSS, Agilent Momentum, CST). The candidate must also have experience in PCB fabrication, microwave measurements (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, VSA) and antenna measurements in an anechoic chamber. Experience with flexible substrate materials such as textiles, PET is a plus, as well as Matlab programming and experience with RFID measurements and protocols. Fluency in English is required. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, physics or related fields, and demonstrate capacity of carrying out innovative research independently. Experience in R&D or industrial projects is a plus. Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to starting date.
