Intelligent Energy (Ref. 2/2010-2, 1 position): The candidate must hold a PhD in telecommunications, preferably with experience in these fields: large system analysis, wireless communications systems, cooperative systems, distributed spatial diversity architectures and signal processing for communications. Applicants should also have a solid background in information theory and some knowledge of the power grid.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants for Research Associate positions must hold a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering, capacity of carrying out innovative research and strong publication record. Involvement in international research projects (with emphasis in projects funded by the European Commission) will be specially valued. Work experience in R&D institutions and/or R&D departments of electrical engineering companies is also highly recommended.
CONDITIONS
The position is permanent. The rank and salary, in the range 34,000 - 37,000 €/year (gross), will be determined according to qualifications and work experience.
