Demos
The demonstration available in the CTTC demo-centre are described in the following:
- SIP vertical handover. In this demo we present our integration solution of an heterogeneous networks based on WLAN-HSDPA systems, and we execute on it a vertical handover of a voice call based on SIP protocol.
- Aggregation of Limited Bandwidth Network Paths to Support HD Video Streaming. In this demo the possibility of using routers with bonding capacity for broascat, videoconferencing and streaming applications will be shown in the context of areas characterized by limited communications respurces.
- GMPLS/PCE control plan of an optical network. In this demo the deployment capacity of a distributed control plan for the provision of optical connctions with quality of service guarantee and advanced and automatic fail recovery is shown in a optical intelligent transport network.
- Optical systems for photonic networks. In this demo the capacity of CTTC for developing the reconfigurable optical systems which compose the wavelenght switch optical transport networks (WSON) will be presented.
- Positioning with inertial sensors. In this demos the positioning of an object in indoor will be shown by means of a wireless inertial sensor.
- Coupled oscillators. In this demo the physical model for the synchronization of coupled oscillators will be shown.
- UWB technology in ULAND. In this demo, realized over CTTC ULAND testbed of UWB technology, it will be shown how a UWB transceiver is capable of using control information to detect the position of another transceiver.
- DEMOCLES - Network Simulator for heterogeneous architectures. DEMOCLES is a network Simulator which allows to study the system level behaviour of a heterogeneous network. We provide a demonstration where we show the recently developed Wimax module. In particular we show its precision in channel modelling by means of an example of video transmission.
- Multi-antenna algorithms. By using the GEDOMIS testbed, we will show the capacity of implementing advanced multi-antenna algorithms, taking into account real-time implementation constraints.
- Development of RF/MW circuits. We will show in CTTC demo-centre some examples of circuits developed at CTTC, and we will present the methodology and tools that we used for their design and development.
