Pavel MIŠKOVSKÝ (Czech Republic, 1979) received his engineering degrees in Telecommunications from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST-Paris, www.enst.fr) and Technical University of Prague (TU-Prague, www.cvut.cz) in July 2003 and February 2004 respectively. In 2004-2005 he was granted by the Centre Tecnologic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) Ph.D. fellowship. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain in 2010. Since december 2005 he is a Research Assistant at CTTC where he is involved in national and industry-funded projects. From July to September 2000 he was working as engineer in WIRELESSCOM-Prague, measuring the quality of the GSM coverage and levels of electromagnetic radiation on BTS sites. From August to December 2002 he was realizing his master thesis within MOTOROLA SPS, Toulouse (France), working on characterization of the Front-End of dualband GPRS telephone. His research interests include, UWB and reconfigurable antennas, antenna characterization and measurement methods, WSN and RFID technology.
