Bio
Pol Blasco eceived the B.Eng. from Technische Universität Darmstadt and BarcelonaTech (formally UPC) in 2008 and 2009, respectively. In 2011 he obtained the European Master of Research on Information and Communication Technologies (MERIT) from BarcelonaTech. He was a visiting scholar in the Centre for Wireless Communication in University of Oulu (Finland) during the last semester of 2011. Since 2009 he is PhD candidate in CTTC, Barcelona. Previously, in 2008, he pursued the bachelor thesis in European Space Agency in the OPS-GSS section. He also has carried on research in neuroscience in IDIBAPS (Barcelona) and in the Technische Universität Darmstadt in collaboration with the Max-Planck-Institut (Frankfurt, Germany) in 2009 and 2008, respectively. His current research interest cover communication of energy harvesting devices, cognitive radio, machine learning, control theory, decision making, and neuroscience.
