Margarida Hesselbach received a degree in Geography and History and a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropoly from the University of Barcelona, UB. Likewise, one of her articles has been published in the review "Antropologies". She also has the Pedagogical Aptitude Certificate from the University of Barcelona. In addition she has made studies of Secretary in English by Eurolog Idiomas.

She has worked as Secretary to the General Delegate in Catalonia of Abengoa and as Secretary to the General Manager of multinational companies related to the transport /custody of works of art and to the quimical industry where, among other functions, managing the IPR portfolio.

She has started in 2008 as Secretary to the Direction Unit giving support to the Director -Prof. Miguel Ángel Lagunas- and the Technology Transfer Director -Mr. Albert Sitjà- on the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya, CTTC.
