Bio
José Núñez-Martínez(1979) is currently a Research Engineer in the IP Technologies Area at CTTC in Barcelona. His current research interests include wireless networking: network protocols, self-organization, stochastic network optimization, content-oriented networking, QoE, and mobile systems.
He received the degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2004 from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
Since 2004 until September 2007, he has worked as a system administrator in the Advanced Broadband Communications Center (CCABA) of UPC as well as participated in SAM (Advanced Mobile Services) and EuQoS (End-to-end Quality of Service) projects. He has experience in kernel programming and in the management of Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
Since September 2005 he's also a PhD student at the UPC's Computer Architecture Department. He defended his Master's Thesis in June 2007.
