Bio
Jesús Gómez Villardebó was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1980. He received his M. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in October 2003 and July 2009, respectively.
He was with the Speech Technology Division of Telefónica Investigación y Desarrollo (Telefónica R&D) from September 2002 to March 2004. From September 2004 to September 2005, he was a part-time Professor with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications.
In September 2005, he was granted by the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) to obtain the Ph. D. on Signal Theory and Communications at the UPC.
His primary research interests include information-theory and cooperative multi-hop wireless communication.
