Biografia
Angelos Antonopoulos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1983. He received his engineering degree from the Information and Communication Systems Engineering Department (I.C.S.D.E) of the University of the Aegean in September 2007, with a graduation thesis concerning implementation and evaluation of VoIP telephony over 802.11 protocol. He has been awarded with a Greek State Scholarship twice (2004, 2005).
His primary research interests include QoS, mobility, admission control, MAC layer protocols, hand-over and scheduling algorithms for wireless networks. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD diploma at the Signal Theory and Communications Department (TSC) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona. He has been awarded with CTTC's PhD fellowship since September 2008 and is working in the Access Technologies Area.
